“PROVACUNO” Two Years of Success in the KSA
The Spanish Beef Association “PROVACUNO” had a remarkable attendance this year during their promotional activities in the KSA, that took place to make the European Beef known in the Saudi market. After their successful participation last year in FOODEX SAUDI Exhibition, “PROVACUNO” Stand at FOODEX SAUDI 2019 has received a large number of guests who gave positive feedback to the European meat. The attendees visiting the booth of PROVACUNO during the fair, had the opportunity to see the famous chef Kisko García – awarded with one Michelin star – live cooking some “tapas” elaborated with an amazing raw material, that is, the best quality European beef.
This year, the Spanish Beef Association “PROVACUNO” started their visit to KSA with a press event held on November 10th, where a large number of social media influencers, local bloggers and chefs attended and tasted the high quality European beef. The attendees had the chance to get a detailed brief about “PROVACUNO” history, followed by a live showcooking after which, they could taste some tapas made with occasion of the visit of PROVACUNO to the KSA and cooked exclusively by Michelin star Chef Kisko Garcia.
On November 13th, Chef Kisko Garcia offered a culinary master class for the students of The Faculty of Tourism in King Abdelaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Chef shared with the students 3 special recipes made with European beef, which was highly valued among the audience. In total, 20 students attended the culinary masterclass, and they had the chance to get a live engaging experience followed by a Q&A session.
After this two year in a row, successful promotional appearance in the KSA, the Spanish Beef Association “PROVACUNO” aims to achieve the same success every year until 2024, with the final target of expanding the European beef within the Saudi market in order to build a solid foundation which may help to consolidate its presence in Saudi Arabia.
