Gulfood 2020 in Dubai is being consolidated as a very important touch point with the Greater Middle East markets not only the United Arab Emirates.
In this edition and as usual for the past two years, Provacuno have a preferential location in Hall 4 ( Meat) at the Gulfood exhibition taking place in Dubai World Trade Center.
In the first two days, 16th and 17th Feb. Provacuno and the Spanish Meat exporters represented there have been receiving the visit of the Spanish Ambassador HE Antonio Alvarez Barthe, the Economic and Commercial Counselor Mr. Erik Rovina, as well as other authorities from the UAE and neighbor countries. They were all acknowledging the increasing efforts from the European Beef Sector to develop a relevant and continues presence in the UAE market, fruit of that work is the impressive growth trend of the export to this destination in this category.
Positive signs that have been backed by many local and regional importers and distributors visiting the stand and welcoming the practical and business-oriented approach of the European meet.
Chef Mariano Andres, GM of Wafi Mall Hospitality group is disseminating the value proposition of the Spanish Beef by conducting regular show cookings during the fair and by preparing with his team some of the best cuts with Spanish origin.
The last day of the exhibition, Thursday 20th Feb is scheduled a business breakfast with the exporters and key players from the local industry to be conducted in Dafza (Dubai Airport Freezone) with the cooperation of Halal Trade and Marketing Center, entity from Dubai Government for the promotion of the Halal Ecosystem worldwide.
