What a Wonderful Beef restart its activity in Hong Kong
Last Tuesday 16th, Provacuno -the Agrofood Inter-professional Organization of the Spanish Beef Industry- started with the first promotion activity of 2020 in Hong Kong in the frame of the European Union Promotion Campaign called “What a Wonderful European Beef!”.
Due to the coronavirus situation and the restrictions of the organization to hold offline events, the Spanish Beef Organization has been innovating to launch online activities in order to be able to keep promoting European beef around the world.
PROVACUNO launched yesterday in Hong Kong a series of online activities that started with a webinar in which the Director of the International Department of PROVACUNO, Mr. Jose Ramon Godoy, introduced the characteristics of the European and, in particular, the Spanish beef to importers, distributors and professionals of the food industry in Hong Kong.
Mr. Godoy put special attention in the strict sanitary control of the European beef and accomplishment of the European Production Model, describing the European beef as “unique for its high quality”. On the other hand, the Director of the International Department of Provacuno explained to the webinar’s attendees the activities the association is organizing around the world to keep promoting beef and improving the exports in this special situation.
The webinar was followed by two days of B2B meetings through a virtual platform. Provacuno had the chance to talk one by one with Hong Kong importers in order to get firsthand information on how the market is developing and what kind of activities the organization could do in the future in order to improve the awareness of the European beef in the Hong Kong market.
This online activity is part of the three years’ campaign “What a Wonderful European Beef!” that started in March 2019 and will finish in March 2021.
