Madras Beef Curry recipe
Ingredients (4 people)
- 500 g of minced beef
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 green peppper
- 1 red pepper
- 2 tbsp of curry paste
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1 can of coconut milk
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Greek yogurt
Seal the beef in a pan, season it with salt and pepper.
Remove from the heat and, in the same pan, poach the onion, garlic, green and red pepper.
Then, add the tomato sauce and let it simmer on low heat for one hour.
Add the curry and the coconut milk and boil for 20 minutes.
Boil a bit basmati rice and sauté it with a drop of olive oil, salt and pepper.
Serve the meat along with the rice and pour the Greek yogurt over it to counter the spicy flavour.
