In the framework of the “What Wonderful European Beef 2.0” campaign, launched by Provacuno – with the support of the European Union- 5 beef importers from the United Arab Emirates were invited from the 29th November to the 4th December to come to Spain and see the European beef industry and why our products are unique.
While in our country, the guests from UAE visited 1 farm, 2 slaughterhouses, 3 cutting plants and Mercamadrid (the biggest meat wholesaler market of Spain). During this week, they could get to know first hand all the features of the European production model, and they verified why it is among the toughest in the world.
Apart from that, they were also informed about key issues for the European beef sector such as food security, animal welfare, traceability and sustainability, which are nowadays priorities for the industry.
This way, they enjoyed our culture, landscapes and food at the same time that they get to know our Wonderful European beef.
