As part of the “What Wonderful European Beef 2.0” campaign, this trade mission meant the last activity of a wide range of promotional actions planned for the KSA during the first project annuity. This way, the trip to Riyadh involved exciting experiences such as the Masterclass celebrated on the 29th by the hand of the Chef Israel Ramos, Spanish awarded Michelin Star, who offered a culinary class to 20 students from the professional school Elite Chefs.
Later in the afternoon, an event presentation was organized at the residence of the Spanish ambassador where professionals of the distribution channel of meat in Saudi Arabia, institutions and media were gathered to enjoy a wonderful dinner with the European beef as main actor. Either Jose Ramón Godoy (International manager of Provacuno) and Israel Ramos (Spanish Michelin starred chef) took care of explaining to the guests the main benefits of the European beef products and its production.
Thanks to this kind of actions, professional agents, future promises of Saudi cuisine, learnt first-hand the importance of issues such as the sustainability, animal welfare and sanitary control, which makes the European Production Model one of the world’s most strict food control and, in the end, make the European Beef unique, for both its quality, taste and security.
