Several Vietnamese beef importer arrived in Spain on 5 June for a 7-day reverse mission trip where they visited beef exporters, farms, feedlots, slaughterhouses and markets, and were also able to enjoy Spanish gastronomy in the best restaurants. During their trip, the importers visited leading Spanish beef companies in Madrid, Cordoba, Lleida, Girona and Barcelona, where they were able to talk face-to-face with Spanish exporters and see how cattle are reared, fed and cared for.
This reverse mission was made possible by the thanks to the program What Wonderful European Beef 2.0 which supports European beef companies in promoting and selling European beef. This campaign has greatly supported Provacuno and its members to promote their beef and increase their sales worldwide.
During the trip, one Vietnamese importer mentioned that he really appreciated the information received about the European and Spanish beef market and put it in a very good light for the future of the Vietnamese market.
Provacuno is already planning a new reverse mission in a few months because there are more Vietnamese beef importers interested in travelling to Spain and discover more in deep about European beef market.
